Scruffy Little Cat- ANOTHER Sneeky Peek!!!

Good evening crafters,.... well we are now on countdown !!! 3 more days until the launch of the FABULOUS new range from Crafters Companion ....Sruffly Little Cat!! Friday will see the very uber talented Leann bring you the amazingly gorgeous new pick of the week on Create and Craft at 12 midday.

and now...another little sneaky peek from me...this time using the Die Cut Decoupage sheet.

 I have used the beautiful Enchanted Create a Card die, to make an Easel card, by simply cutting it out twice, Ive used the papers from the darks paper pad to pop behind the die, then used the die cut topped to pop behind the centre. A few paper flowers using the lace, blissful and small sunflower quilling dies ( I am very new to making flowers and will be the first to admit I need practise! but they are so very easy to make!) then I popped a sentiment that comes with one of the stamp sets!. I hope you like my little card! I LOVE this range! the stamps are just so FAB to colour!! I will be sharing another stamped image tomorrow!!

Just Inklined Blog Hop For May- Theme Animals

Gooooooood morning crafters!!

It's time to ....HOP!.....

Today see's the start to May's Blog Hop for Just Inklined ( my second one as DT member!! YAY!!!)

This months host is the lovely Gaynor who has chosen the theme of "Animals" 

mmmm so I got to thinking??...with so many fabulous Animal digi stamps available...which one to choose! I had a lovely time flicking through the wonderful choices over at the Just Inklined shop ( I have seen sooooo many now I want to colour!) but I settled for a very handsome little fellow called "Prince of Frogs" and you can pick him up just ....HERE!

very appropriate I think for a blog..HOP! and I chose a sentiment that matched him PERFECTLY!

I enlarged my image to fit an 8 x 8 card and coloured him in using my Spectrum Noir pens, here are the colours I used...

DG1, DG2, DG3, DG4, CG2, CG4
BLACK, EB1, EB2, GB10 and the Blender pen.

then some simple mat and layering with green and brown card stock and some gorgeous Olive satin ribbon... this is my FAVOURITE colour!!

Crafters Companion Sneeky Peek!!....#2 Scruffly Little Cat

Good Morning All!!!!

Well....it's bank holiday weekend and the sun is ...er...dare I say it shining!?!? so I hope you are all enjoying a fabulous BH!! Today I am mosty crafting, so I thought before I get started I would share another of the lovely "Scruffly Little Cat" DT samples made ready for the exciting launch THIS FRIDAY 9th of May on Create and Craft! Crafters Companion really have pulled out all the stops to bring you something amazing crafters! 

meet.... "Chanel"

how very lush is she!! Chanel is another of the fabulous stamps that will be winging its way to you on friday!! 

I have used my Spectrum Noir Pens to colour her in and I have used the following colours...

BG7, BG6, BG5, BG4, BG2, BG1
BT1, BT2, BT4
TN6, TN3, TN2
CR1, CR2, CR3
FS3, FS4, FS2,
GB8, GB7, GB5, GB4, GB3, GB1
EB4, PP1, PP2

Plus papers from the Darks SLC paper pad. some Core'dinations card stock, black ribbon and a diamante ribbon slider from my stash...ooooh and not forgetting some pretty little pearls and lots of lovely collal all purpose glue...that I now couldnt craft without and use on EVERYTHING!! So....what do you think! The girls on the Design Team I must say have done Crafters Companion. proud with all their samples and colourings!! Just you wait and see all the variations of just this stamp alone and how different she looks made up in different colour combinations!   

right the day is young I'm off to CREATE!!

Challenge #13 over at The Crafting Musketeers!

Hey Crafters!! Its that time of the month again!! hasnt it rolled round quick!! We see a brand new challenge start over at Crafting Musketeers

and its our 1st birthday too!! This months theme to follow is..."Anything but square"! and we have a fabulous sponsor this month.....drum roll please...the one and only....Katy Sue Designs!! and look at this for a corker of a prize

A CD ROM that is JAM PACKED FULL of totally gorgeous and original art work!!

so....this month I chose to make a round card...well... anything but square right!!

A very quick and simple card, image printed from the Katy Sue Designs CD ROM Fabulous Shoes that you can pick up ....HERE!!

I used a circle die to cut my image out from Nellies Muli Frames, and then using the Crafters Companion Die'sire Die Waltz Frame, I cut two of the fancy circles in some very lush red card, used collall quick dry tacky glue and attached the two together on one side to make a lovely fancy circle die! popped on mu image, a flash of luscious red organza ribbon and done!

  how gorgeous is she!! Amy is one of the rubber stamp sets, I've used her here along with 6x6 papers from the Darks paper pad, the gorgeous "Chic" SLC embossing folder, Chantilly lace Die'sire die and my Spectrum Noir pens! I think she is a right little Roch Chic! and I already know so many people I could use this image on to send a card!
