Heartfelt Creations - Sunrise Lilly

Good afternoon crafters!!

So a little break from catching up on this years posts to share a couple of new makes with you all. a lovely friend of mine Cheryl asked if I could make her 2 cards for her Mum for her 50th Birthday, of course !! and straight away I thought it just has to be Heartfelt Creations! I am so in love with this companies collections I can't even tell you! I only discovered them last year!! and now I need everything...if only lol

I chose to work with the Sunrise Lilly collection for these 2 cards, the paper pad is simply divine, such beautiful colours and the quality of it ALL is seriously outstanding! 

I chose 2 different colours ways as one needed to have Mum on and the other Wife 

 so for this first card I chose some papers from the pad that had beautiful warm orangey tones that I teamed with green, distressed the edges added a little distress ink, then I used the images from the paper pad- Vase, Lilles and the corner lillie.. and die cut them with the matching dies, the frame they are on is also HFC but from the shoe collection, I then printed a sentiment, added more distress inks and some stickles so simple but beautiful!!

then for the next card , using the same paper pad I chose more pinky tones, added a little distress ink to the edges and this time run a line of stickles around, same frame die as before, printed my sentiment, and then used the main Lilly stamp and die combination to create these gorgeous Lillies!! very simply coloured with distress inks, 

added glitter, some cosmic shimmer pearls and done!

2 pretty cards 2 different colours same kit!

I also made one in gorgeous yellow tones but I can't share that one yet as it's not being given till monday!!

Sheena Douglass Torn Collection Part 1

Hey crafters!! well, I'm back with my Torn samples part ONE!! :) Oh my days... THIS launch was one of my favouirtes, it's the skull ...I just love the skull stamp and it teams very well with another fabulous launch of Sheenas ...."Day Of The Dead!" ( thats tomorrows post!) so if you want to check the stamps out on line you can find them on the Crafters Companion website right over...HERE!!

 6 stamp sets in the collection again, all amazing , I especially love the blank one, this gives you endless possiblilies using your own stamps!! but as you can see on my first sample below I used it to create an aperature in my card!! so heres my Design Teams samples for this launch!, all coloured with Spectrum Aquatints/ markers and Distress Inks.... 

 

I LOVE THIS SKULL!!!!!!!!

 so the big skull that I have used for the inside is from Sheenas, "Day Of The Dead " launch , more with that next post!

 all the torn edges I've made 3D wich give a fabulous effect!!

Sheena Douglass Torn - Collection 2

Good evening crafters!! well I am back! in an attempt to get this little blog up to date and bang on track!! so....tonight I'm going to Share with you my Sheena design Team samples from the Torn range! I adore the concept of these stamps, they are just brilliant! so much you can do with them , the detail is just outstanding too! which after all when hand drawn by Sheena herself and then made by Crafters Companion...we would expect nothing less!!  So this new range of Torn stamps Sheena brought out in 2 releases, these I'm sharing this evening are the second lauch that you may have not long seen on Hochanda, I'll share the first lot tomorrow ( I'm working backwards remember!! ;) ) AND I am extremely proud to say that for ALL the torn stamps I did the colouring for the packaging too! so I was well chuffed!!,

here we go, 6 fabulous designs, 5 with an image behind and then one stamp set with the edges and corners etc all the neccessary elements to create your backgrounds and complete the look!my favourite is the EYE!!! amazing I love it so much!, and I just HAD to change it up a little and make into an Alien type witchy type of card!! brillinat!!

 so all my images are coloured in with Spectrum Aqua pens and then my backgrounds are all Distress inks, photos show the cards as being quite flat but are actually 3D in parts.

To help create all the shading I used my favourite drawing gum over the stamped images first so I could add some dramatic blending and shading just in the right places on each one, absolutely love that stuff!! then simply rub away to colour in the main image.

Sheenas BACK With A Gorgeous Christmas stamp collection !!

Good evening crafters!! well what can i say .... i have totally failed this year in keeping my blog up to date hahahah and after my big new year speech too! all i can say in my defence is...... its been a very busy crafty year!! but my little good ole blog is still here patiently waiting for me to UPDATE it! so..... here i am but with so much to blog where should i start!! i suppose it makes sense to blog my most recent makes, and then i'll work backwards! which would be Sheenas fabulous new exciting Christmas launch that has recently aired on Hochanda!! totally in love with these stamps!! gorgeous gorgeous designs all hand drawn by the sheer fabulousness that is our Sheena, Victorian feel to these too simply beautiful!! the inkoids had so much fun working on these and my fellow teamies made some corkers so please do check out their blogs to see what they have been up to, or.....if your a Sheena fan ( and of course you are ) check out the Sheena Inkettes page just  HERE!!

where was i....YES Sheena Christmas stamps! so....6 fabulous designs and what makes these so fabulous is there usability..... they are not only for Christmas how brilliant is that! so i'll stop waffling and share my design team cards with you for this launch! oooh and i've coloured all these with distress inks and the utterly gorgeous Spectrum sparkle pens!

HeartFelt Creations...All Gammed up!

Good evening crafters!! i hope you are all well! 

yesterday i finally got around to playing with my gorgeous gorgeous collection from Heartfelt Creations called "All Glammed Up!" and oh my gosh it is just divine! i love it completely!...shoes ....dresses flowers...whats not to like.... right!

So here is my first card made from the collection, i totally LOVE it!! ,

i've used papers from the totally lush paper pad that you can check out  JUST HERE!

and then the very glamourous shoe stamp and die set that you can see over HERE and HERE

  i'ver coloured my shoe with spectrum pens, flowers and leaves with distress inks and lots of sparkly glitter!
