Shoe Shopping

Good evening Everyone!! well i hope you are all fabulous and have lots of crafty projects on the go??? I've had a lovely few days off work this week, so have been catching up with some projects i have on the go at the minute, Some exciting DT work for the ever FABULOUS LA PASHE ( who by the way have a VERY good shilling sale on this week!!! Christmas decoupage 5p a sheet!!!)

Then...some exciting work for "The Stamping Boutique" who by the way... GET READY FOR IT CRAFTERS!!! will be seeing a new start to their challenge blog go live this weekend 1st of september so watch out for the post!! and while all this excitedness is going on around me i'm also working on a wedding order for a lovely girl getting married in two weeks!!! phew!

tonight i'm going to share a recent DT card i made for La Pashe for the launch of their CD rom Something for Everyone

i used the pre printed sheets for this card available just ...HERE! priced at only 69p . Now then i thought.... Jak always askes us to "Think outside the box" so.... what could i do to make my card different? there are some amazing background papers on the La Pashe cd's so i had a gander and found this fabulous brick wall design, and decided to create a "Shop Front" window card!! something a little different, i also cut some stars out of flourescent cardstock and wrote "Sale" on them for a realistic look!, I hope you like my card and thank you for dropping by my little blog!..right back to the grind stone! crafting to be done!!

Snow Peep Mike!

Good evening bloggers!! i hope you are all Fabulous!!!! well tonight i am sharing a new card made with the most cutest of Digi Stamps that i just completely fell in LOVE with the second i saw it and also sharing some VERY exciting news!! first my card...

Spellbinders Card!

Good evening bloggers!  Just dropping by with some recent cards i made using my Spellbinder Dies,

Firstly i apologise as the first one is  not the best photo and was taken in a rush! but thought it a shame not to pop the photo on with the others as i was really pleased with how it came out!.

 

I love just using my dies on a card now,  and untill a couple of months ago I  would never dream of making a card without a picture on lol but these cards are so simple and so effective and have been so well recieved that i just love them now, of course it means i need to start buying more dies! and had a new set of 4 just slip into my basket last week while on line shopping! oops! Hope you like my little makes and would love to hear your comments!! thanks for stopping by :)

look alikes

Hi there you crafty lot! hope you are all fabulous!, just popping on to share a recent make with you all. 

I took part in a recent card swap on a fab facebook craft group i'm in. the theme... "Animals" so i looked at all my crafty cds on my shelf... and there are ALOT! and thought BINGO! i know the perfect image!

This image  is called "Look alikes" and is another of the wonderful images from "The Wrinklies"   cd rom from La Pashe for my card i've chosen a simple A5 size, I printed the decoupaged elements onto glossy photo card to try something new, then printed the coordinating backing paper onto the left half of the card, and on the right side, I have simply popped the image into my graphic programme- MCS my craft studio, I then have enlarged the picture used a digital punch to select the area i wanted, then faded it to around 60%  ive chosen a lovely purple card stock to matt and layer with, chose some purple ribbon , lilac gems and wrote my sentiment in a matching purple font! and voila, a funny "Animal" themed card, just fabulous!!

Scooter Santa

Good evening Bloggers!! It's finally here!!!! Its the...drum roll please....."Christmas Wrinklies"!! Launched only this week another...yes thats right...ANOTHER BRAND NEW Cd Rom and paper kit from La Pashe !! Crafters...can we take much more excitement?? oh i think we can, we have been well and truly spoilt so far this year with so many brand new launches from La Pashe and guess what?... the year is not over yet! :) , now i am very lucky to have the privilage to work on the Design Team with the one and only extreeeeamley talented Jak Heath and an amazing group of fellow crafters !!! and here is my first DT team card to show you from this "flippin fabulous"NEW" Christmas range

Aptly named..."Scooter Santa!" I have used a pre printed sheet for this card and one of the La Pashe swing cards. I used the coordinating background paper to cover the front half and inside right as shown, made two borders using some silver card and a second coordinating backing paper. I made up the decoupaged Scooter Santa and popped on the front section and then on the reverse  i used the matching round topper that also comes complete on the sheet, but ran it through my Grand Calibur using a Spellbinders scalloped circle, , then to add some extra detail i used some christmas die cuts- baubles and pine needles cut in silver, popped into place, used some gorgeous bright red ribbon, and...of course lots of GLITTER!! now i LOVE this image, and it will be the one i choose for my lovely Mum this year, bless her she is 70 now and drives around in her mobility scooter with the number plate "Animal" on the front and on the reverse?...." I M SEXY" so i just know my Mum will love the sense of humour in this card!! August Challenge # 4 At The "Crafting Musketeers!" & DT call!

Good day all you wonderful people! Where is this year going!!??  Welcome.... to  our August Challenge over at the  "Crafting Musketeers" Firstly THANKYOU to everyone who entered our challenge last month! and a BIG congratulations to our winner Cheremane who's entry was beautiful! I hope you enjoy your prize!

Once again the DT has been busing making some samples and the lovely Delicios Doodles  gave us 4 digis of our own to use!! I chose the Humming Bird & Fuschia digi for my sample below

i followed the sketch, and coloured in using my promarkers! i LOVE these colours! lovely and bright for summer!!

and now on to some EXTRA news this month.. unfortunately our very lovely DT member Sarah is stepping down from the team! We are sorry to see her go and wish her luck in her new ventures!! BUT crafters.... this leaves a Design Team Place available!! maybe two!! eeeek i hear you scream!!
