look alikes

Hi there you crafty lot! hope you are all fabulous!, just popping on to share a recent make with you all. 

I took part in a recent card swap on a fab facebook craft group i'm in. the theme... "Animals" so i looked at all my crafty cds on my shelf... and there are ALOT! and thought BINGO! i know the perfect image!

This image  is called "Look alikes" and is another of the wonderful images from "The Wrinklies"   cd rom from La Pashe for my card i've chosen a simple A5 size, I printed the decoupaged elements onto glossy photo card to try something new, then printed the coordinating backing paper onto the left half of the card, and on the right side, I have simply popped the image into my graphic programme- MCS my craft studio, I then have enlarged the picture used a digital punch to select the area i wanted, then faded it to around 60%  ive chosen a lovely purple card stock to matt and layer with, chose some purple ribbon , lilac gems and wrote my sentiment in a matching purple font! and voila, a funny "Animal" themed card, just fabulous!!
