The Snowman

Happy Saturday Morning Crafters!!!!
Today I am sharing my 3rd card made using the fabulous Crafters Companion CDrom "The Snowman and Snowdog" available now from  JB-Crafting Supplies, so I thought..mmm.. I've made a card using elements from the decoupage section..then last week I used the Snowglobe section,.... so what for this week? there really is so much to choose from crafters you will be spoilt for choice! well after much deliberation and changing my mind as it is ALL fabulously wonderful! I settled on using something from the Card Companions section!
These are brilliant, as each design prints out onto one A4 sheet and has everthing you need to create a card, there will be a backing paper, topper, sometimes decoupage, ribbons and bows, buttons etc all coordinating :) I loved the image I chose as I think the colours are really soft and gentle
I decided to create my own main backing paper with this card, this is something I LOVE to do and is really simple, I selected the "Snowman" image and popped into my graphic Programme- MCS, I enlarged, cropped then faded it to around 50%- voila! one matching background paper! I chose to back onto gold mirri card and punched out some lovely gold snowflakes, each with a gold gem in the centre, a little blue bow to coordinate and pull out the blue from the background, and for my Decoupaged Snowman, as this is only one layer I wanted him to stand out a little more, so used Crafter companion Gold glitter spray to make him "Shimmer"!!
For my insert I popped the backing paper again into MCS enlarged, cropped and faded and popped on a Christmas verse
This CD is definately one you need to add to your collection!

The Snowman & Snowdog- Snowglobe Card

Good evening peeps!! hope you are all fabulous!!, Tonight I am sharing my 2nd DT card for JB- Crafting Supplies, I am currently working with the CDrom The Snowman & Snowdog, by Crafters Companion, that is now available on the JB- Crating Supplies website and in store. So last week, I made a Snowman Decoupaged card, this week, mmmm what else has the CD to offer? there is a section with some really lovely snowglobes that are SUPER DUPER quick to make up!, so I thought I would give one a try, but for this card I printed straight onto Crafters Companion Pearlescent Cardstock, I have to say if you have never tried this you MUST! you get an absolutely beautiful shimmer to your image, unfortunately I couldnt quite pick this up on my camera which is such a shame....so you will just have to use your wonderfully crafty imaginations :)
All i needed to add was some lovely BRIGHT shiny Christmas Red Ribbon, and a few punched out snowflakes each with a little Gem
and there we have one very quick but very lovely Snowglobe card!! The card doesnt come with the sentiment you can see here, i put the image into My Craft Studio, and used a "Text tool" to craete the curve
Hope you will drop me a message I do love to hear from you!! :)

New Arrival

Good evening everyone!! hope we are all good?? I am extreeeeeamly excited at the moment...I am on baby countdown!!!! my beautiful daughter is due her first baby...."my FIRST grandchild" in....32days!!! I am bubbling like a bottle of pop about to explode!!and it's going to be a GIRL!!!! this is when I will experiment with my first scrap book! something I have always fancied trying but untill now i havent done! so...i will be looking for hints, tips and anything else to help me!
Tonight i'm sharing a La Pashe card made from the cd rom "Behind closed Doors Pop Up CD Rom"
This card was one of my DT cards I made for the launch of the CD  and I used the pre printed sheet for this card you can get just HERE for 69p!!
For my card I used one of the La Pashe card blanks especially created to use with the open doors cd rom/ pre printed sheets, you can pick them up on the web site Right Here! priced at £2.99 for a pack of 4 cards, they come with the pop up elements you need too,  oh and of course envelopes! but the cd rom comes complete with template if you want to create your own :) So... i made up my card using the elements on the sheet, then i added some extras!! I made some teeny tiny cards.... added a shelf... using another La Pashe cd rom I printed a little bear and vase of flowers then made some mini bunting with "Baby Girl!" and a rossette using some bright pink ribbon...but i thought??? it had something missing..i wanted to add abit more! thats when i had the hospital corridor idea, I made a large DL card printed a background paper with two colours seperated with a border, and added a couple of signs "Maternity Ward This Way" and "Gift Shop This Way". I LOVED making this card and it is sure to stand out on anyones mantle piece. This cd really is good fun, I've made a few now from it and i always get such lovely compliments!! they are so easy to put together and really give the WOW factor on opening, so you just have to give them a try.
Right my lovelies I have waffled enough!! I have quite alot on the go at the minute so I will be back very soon with more! ooooh and you must stop by tomorow as I have exciting news!! "The Stamping Boutique" is hosting a "Ning launch party on saturday!!...you see the "Ning" icon top right of my blog?? click it!! i will be back with details tomorrow but trust me you won't want to miss out!!
Night all!

Christmas Disco

Hey everyone!! it's time to share another DT card made for La Pashe
Christmas Disco!!! Another amazingly fabulous decoupaged image from the newly released cd rom " Christmas With The Wrinklies"
I just LOVE all these images and they really are so much fun to work with!! for this card i used the pre printed sheets available just ...HERE! and one of the La Pashe stepper cards that are also available to buy on their website right ....about....HERE!! I used the  Christmas backing papers layered onto red card stock to cover my base card, and then assembled my decoupaged image also layered on to red card.I then simply die cut some spellbinder snowflakes and punched some smaller snowflakes out of my woodware punch positioned into place, added some lovely festive red gems , popped on a couple of sentiments and done!! brrrrrilliant !
if you don't already have this cd....why?? it's a no brainer really! you will love it! and if you just want to try one image before buying the cd rom or complete paper kit, you can buy them for...are you ready...69p per sheet!! thats crazy prices!! but if you do go straight for the cd rom, i can't highly reccomend enough using their "Print Perfect" papers, the quality stands out a mile, and TRUST me as i print LOADS don't skimp on your paper quality folks!! it's just not worth it! if you want to get the same quality that you see from La Pashe, on their web site, blog and on Create & Craft TV when they are showing their products you must try their papers!! after all these guys know what they are talking about !! you can check out all you need right ..HERE!
well thats enough from me for one night :) i have some more projects on the go that i will share with you all very soon!!
