Ice Pond Skating- La Pashe

Good evening bloggers and crafters!!....how is your Christmas Crafting coming along?? As all us crafters know Christmas is our BUSIEST time of year!! and it can be hard with sooooo many cards to make to think of new designs and ideas, to try and keep coming up with new images to keep our crafting fresh and current! As a crafter who sells her cards and also attends a Christmas Fair I have many friends who come to me every year for their special family and friends cards, so I'm always looking to see what I can offer that is new and different from what I created the year before!
This year we have had some fabulous new launches from La Pashe and they have definately not dissapointed us once again with the new launch only a couple of weeks ago of their newest cd rom The Christmas Box

The card I am sharing tonight was another of my DT cards made for the exciting launch on Create and Craft, I can't begin to say how exciting it is to be part of this DT, and to have the opportunity to work with the extremely talented Jak Heath and our amazingly talented ladies on our DT !!! I LOVE it! and I am as proud as punch to display my DT badge with extreme pride on my blog!..ok i'm gushing...on with the card!
SO!... for this design called- Ice Pond Skating I used the pre printed sheet, that you can find just ....HERE!....69p!! (this still amazes me!) and I also used one of the co-ordinating background papers found on the cd rom.
I started with a A4 sheet of 300gsm card, scored and folded to create an A5 card blank,

I mat and layered the backing paper on to silver mirri card and to the left wrapped some very luscious silver ribbon tied in a knot,
I made up my decoupage pieces, layered onto silver and secured in place,  Die cut some silver skates and printed the sentiments- Let It Snow and Christmas Wishes,..this is where you need to add your snow!! LOTS of lovely glitter!!  ...then.... for the exciting part!! I took a piece of A4 snow flake acetate and created a wrap, to do this I cut my sheet to 24cm, scored a fold at both ends measuring  2cm each, along each 2cm fold I placed red extra strong tape, and carfully attached each flap to the underside of my main card topper.

I then attached this to my A5 card blank! I Love this!! so different and it looks like it is snowing :) now....you can't buy these cards in the shop! and that is one of the MANY things that I love about hand made cards!
So I hope you like my card and please check out the web site right HERE! for all your Christmas supplies!!
Right I have waffled enough! I will be back with more soon! Good night everyone!!
