BRAND NEW RELEASE over at Scrappers Delights!!

Hey all you crafters!!! it's that exciting time again!! woop! Over at Scrappers Delights there are BRAND NEW releases ..TODAY!! 

More fabulousness for you crafters to get your hands on! yep...Janice has done it again and brought you some more wonderful Digi Stamps!, so whether you are a digi stamp addict or you have never tried digi stamps before head on over to see all the newbies...so...

as you know I'm lucky enough to be on the Design Team and get to preview and play with all the new releses before they hit the store, and this time around I have been colouring in with "Cupid" and with Valentines Day just around the corner she will be perfect for all your valentines cards. You can pick her up at the Stitchy Bears Digi Outlet just...HERE!...or over on the Scrappers Delights Store...just OVER HERE!

 She is gorgeous!!! and how cute! so I printed a lovely music sheet background, cutting around the edge and popping onto my card blank, I found a lovely Verse that I thought sounded so sweet for Valentines Day, popped this onto a scroll I had on one of my craft CD's, printed, cut around the edge to make look old, distressed with Dusty Concord Tim Holtz ink pad. and set off to the right, now...to my stamp! I printed her out and coloured in with my promarkers, then carefully cut her out. I used some crinkle Ribbon in Navy to wrap around both my card and scroll, then popped my Cupid into place with 3D foam pads, lastly adding a couple of pins- I always buy white and colour with my promarkers! so much easier and cheaper !! and VOILA! one "Cute Cupid" card! and not just for Valentines folks! perfect for wedding, anniversary, birthday to the one I Love....perfect! head on over to check out the rest of the new releases and see what the rest of the Design Team have come up with for inspiration for you!!

This is the cutest little purse and so very easy to make. I have hand cut this one using some beautiful papers, added some lovely pearls and made a pretty flower simply using some punches. the lovely thing about this purse is when you lift the front flap, it pulls out the hidden message!! so sweet!  you could also include some vouchers, tickets, even money inside to be revealed once opened. What a Lovely "SUPRISE"

Challenge #2 over at The Stamping Boutique!- Valentines Theme

Hey Guys!!! hope you are all fabulous!! It is time to get crafty and come and join us over at The Stamping Boutique!

This Challenge has the lovely theme of " Valentines"

For my DT card this time around I have used the digi "Audrey And AJ on the bench" that you can find just HERE!

A lovely and sweet little couple, perfect I thought for a valentines card!!

I have made my card into a 7x7inch card, - my new favourite size!! and coloured in with my promarkers. I picked the Purply maroon  and green out of my coloured image to coordinate the bacground with some papers from my stash. The corners are made from the Tonic Verso "Decorative Bow Rings die, that I cut into quarters, and this is my FIRST attempt at a paper bow!! I LOVE it!! I will definately be making more paper bows :) Right on to the challenge.... you know the drill guys. To enter our challenge you need to follow a few simple rules...

1. Your project must follow the theme

2. You can enter a card, scrapbook layout, altered art item etc.

3. It must be a new creation

4. Please connect to the actual blog post where your project is located

5. If your card/ project is chosen as TOP WINNER and you have used a TSB image...then you will win 4 free digi images from TSB, if you have used another image ...thats ok you can still win  3 free digi images from TSB.

*NEW RELEASE* From Scrappers Delights

Good morning crafters!! Well I have some exciting news today!! Head on over to  Scrappers Delights  to see the BRAND NEW RELEASES!!! and crafters.....they are gooooooood!! you will LOVE them!! As I am one lucky crafter to be on the DT I have had the complete pleasure of working with the "Oh so cute" Baby Boo Bear Blankie Girl", who is the most adorable little Digi, you will completely fall in love with her....I did!  and here she is...

 How cute!!! and you can pick her up right now just over...HERE! Now if anyone knows me they will know I have recently (11 weeks ago to be precise) become a nanny for the first time to the beautiful Scarlett! so to play with this gorgeous little girl and use LOTS of PINK! was just a must! I chose quite a plain background for my card as I wanted my image to POP! I have embossed the background with hearts, and ....trust me lol it looks lovely but the camera hasnt quite picked it up. I matted onto hot pink card and placed my topper to the left, colouring in with my favourite promarkers! a simple sentiment- I have used 3 different fonts for this...why you ask?....Why not lol its good to be different! A couple of die cut hearts to the top of my topper and an extra "Happy Birthday Sentiment just popping out ! Ive used a la la land heart garland to the top right of my card and just snipped off one part to add to the bottom left. What do you think? isnt she the cutest! I think she would be fun to colour in, in the softest of baby bear browns too...or maybe some clever promarker colouring to make it a cuddly panda! whichever crafters the choice is yours! in pastel pinks for a new baby card....ooooh the ideas!!!

Your Never Too Old For Rock & Roll!

Hey crafters!! Today its time to share my DT card for La Pashe with you.

For this card I have used The Wrinklies CD rom that is available on line now...just over HERE!! If you don't yet have this CD I highly recommend you add it to your collection as it's HILARIOUS!!! Each image on the CD is guaranteed to remind you of someone you know!!.... following with my CAS cards i've been making lately I decided to go with Rocking Rita!! that you will find in the Digi Stamp section of the CD. This image reminds me of my mom!! PERFECT!!

I have enlarged the stamp to fit an 8x8 card and coloured in with my promarkers!!

Love It!!!

The rest of the characters are BRILLIANT!!

Just Inklined Poppies

Good evening all!!
Just a quick post this evening...back to work tomorrow, so managed to squeeze in another evening of colouring :)
Tonight I chose some beautiful poppies from the CD Rom "The Best Of Just Inklined" available right ...HERE!

I LOVE poppies and this Digi is a beauty!! I have enlarged to fit an 8x8 card, coloured in with my promarkers and simply popped on a sentiment!

Right I had better go and catch some sleep before the dreaded alarm goes off at 6!! :)

Just Inklined Daisy's

Good mornong all!

Today for a change I fancied colouring some pretty daisy's, and I have the perfect image!! Just Inklined have the most beautiful flower digis!! I have printed this one straight from the CD rom " The Best Of Just Inklined" that you can get just HERE! Its jammed packed FULL to the brim of lovely digi stamps!!

I have coloured this stamp before and it is gorgeous!! last time I made into a 6x6 card but for this one, I've enlarged the image to put onto an 8x8 card.

Thanks for dropping by!! I am now going to lock myself away to make wedding invitations......which what I should have been doing instead of colouring lol

Happy Birthday Girlfriend!

Hey you lot!! hows it going? One more day then back to work..:( booooooo ,Well this week as you may have seen I have been practising with my pro markers...Jak said play....so I'm playing!! another Saturated Canary one tonight, I do love her but loved my previous ones more...the fringe on this one has little loose bits so in hind sight the extra fine nibs wouls have worked better, so just ordered some, but what is great about pro markers is as soon as they arrive I will touch up the fringe that I'm not happy with and pro markers are very forgiving and will let me :) Will post a pic when I do that part. Ive tried to make the hair slightly darker, this is the first hair colour Ive been really happy with so I'm going to slowly take them darker so I can learn as I go...then I'll go lighter! again another CAS card but this week is not about how fancy I can make them look but all about the colouring ;)

 as you can see even though I used the fine nib for the fringe it needed to be slightly finer, but i'll re do this part when my fine nibs arrive!! and ive defined the nose slighty too :)

Right I'm off to catch some Zzzzzz

If Friends Were Flowers I'd Pick You...

Early hours here folks.... soft music playing....the house is so so peacful, I think this is why I colour in best lol no distractions :)

Just sharing another CAS card I have just finished. The light is not its best...I do need to invest in a light box or something for taking better photo's.. but these will have to do for now

Another Saturated Canary image this evening, I thought this lovely image was so pretty and perfect for this sentiment which I have used previously on floral cards.

 Sweet and simple, ....I think....I have found my new favourite card style....for now lol. When I first saw CAS cards ...I thought mmmm ok, but not for me, I like to add lots on with lots of glitters and ribbons etc....and then I made one, using a beautiful image and beautiful sentiment and I TOTALLY changed my mind! I think for me it just depends on the image/ sentiment you are using. So for the first few CAS cards I've tried I have chosen thoughtful sentiments and images that I LOVE that to me just dont need anything more adding to them...well... thats just my look at things ;)

Good evein...errr good morning bloggers!! as it is 1.30 am lol, A spot of late night colouring in my craft room tonight. I love this time, the house is so peaceful, all in bed...aaaaahhhhh ...lovely :) Mind you this is the third night I have been crafting untill the wee hours! all will unfortunately change next week when back to work :(...maybe one day I can get a crafty job!! we can all dream :)

anyway...as the lovely Saturated Canary is offering 50% off some soon to be retired stamps I just HAD to go shopping this evening and brought myself 4 lovely digis I thought would look good on some CAS cards ( I am falling in love with CAS cards you may tell!) 

I thought she was beautiful and perfect for this sweet sweet sentiment, coloured with my promarkers. I hope you like her and would love to know what you think!!

Happy weekend all!! 

I have a busy one today!! My nephew who we have every weekend is 8!! and has a full day planned for us to do with him! starting with I think...Cinema...unless he changes his mind AGAIN.... followed by a drink out at our local social club that my cousin runs...then....wait for it...out for a meal tonight at Flavourz! and yes you heard me right he is only 8! anyone would think I have a teenager on my hands...

anyway ..back to crafting!! I have just a quick card to share with you this morning. I had the new Linda Ravenscroft- Crazy Cats CD Rom for christmas that I have been dying to use!! but its been a busy couple of weeks! But finally here I am with my first card from the CD. This cute little puss is called "Rub a Dub" I LOVE cats! and have two at the minute...Marmite who adopted us about 6/7 months ago, turning up at my back door very cold and hungry and promptly moved herself in! ( now my baby!) and Shadow my ver old lady at 22...yes 22!!! she will be 23 this year and as any really old cat, looks like the cat no bodys owns lol looks very old but full of beans!  and I assure you very spoilt

I digress....here is my card..

Nothing fancy today just a sweet and simple topper accompanied by some lovely faded out background paper from the CD a fitting sentiment....Wishing you a purrrrrrrfect birthday and just some glossy accents on my bubbles!! I LOVE glossy accents! I would have added a dash of glitter but I have just run out of Quickie Glue pen, so must pop to my craft shop to replenish today! This CD rom is full of once again amazinglycute art work so if you are a fan you need to add this one to your collection! right I had better go and start birthday celebrations!

DT card for JB-Craftingsupplies

Hey everyone!...well this has certainly been a week for blogging for me!!...BUT...I did say 2014 I wanted to blog more so ...here I am..AGAIN! This time with a new DT card for JB- Crafting Supplies Each month Julie sends out her DT with an item she would like us to use, which is always exciting as I never have a clue what it is lol, last week I received my little parcel and recieved some LOVELY LOVELY papers

I was totally spoilt for choice!! Then also this gorgeous stamp from Stampendous

...mmmmm but what to make with my little stash?? It had to be an "Arty" Distressed card!..and here it is...

I decided to go with some of Graphic 45 papers - as they were my favourite! I chose a background paper, distressed and inked the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain and glued into place...next i chose THE most beautiful butterfly paper that again i distressed and inked then glued to the top left of my card..then to STAMP!! I used my Tim Holtz ink pad and stamped the image, then putting a lovely wet splodge of ink on my glass mat, taking a simple paint brush and water I coloured in...seemed quite fitting painting paint brushes with a paint brush :). Then distressing and inking the edges i glued in the bottom right corner...mmmm to choose a sentiment... needed to fit the image, so I typed in Arty Quotations into google and found LOADS! I chose this simple one and printed onto coordinations card stock...again inking and distressing...curled both ends and popped into place....but something missing.. a gold cherub button! from my stash, simply snipped off the back loop and glued using cosmic shimmer glue, and there you go, one little Arty Distressed card. 

now all i need to do is think of three more projects for the next three weeks using the same items?? thinking cap on! All items used are available online and instore now from Julie at JB-Craftingsupplies, so untill next time crafters....

Hey crafters and bloggers!! Well I have 4 wedding orders I am working on at the moment for 4 lovely future brides!!

so I thought I would share a few pictures from a wedding I did last year. I was very lucky that the lovely couple sent me some gorgeous photos that their photographer took of the items I made them.

....Dance like nobody's watching....

Its the early hours now... but I couldnt resist blogging my last card of the day. I wanted to try something different, I've made a couple of CAS cards today and I've really enjoyed just concentrating on the images and getting back to some good old colouring! LOVE it! so... I have a lovely Saturated Canary Digi that has the most adorable eyes! So I enlarged the imaged and cropped it leaving me basically with the head and shoulders, then went on the hunt for a nice sentiment! I've made my card 8 x 8 inch square and coloured in with promarkers...what do you think?
