New Release from Scrappers Delights

Hey crafters!It's that time of the month again where Scrappers Delights has some more FABULOUS new release digis in store for you! I have been working with a beautiful digi stamp called "Victorian Digi 1" and you can find her just HERE!

I decided to make a pretty tag this month, 

i used my luscious Spectrum Noir pens to colour and then for a different look, i sprayed over my finished image using Crafters Companion Spray and Sparkle in Pearl Diamond! it has given such a fantastic finish! Challenge over at Crafters Companion

The June challenge is still under way, but you only have a few more days to get your entries in over at the

This months theme is Masculine, I decided to use my Rachelle Anne Miller paper kit and make a cute little card 

this is one of the toppers from the kit...how cute! I used the matching background card stock, and then using cc clouds embossing folder I embossed a gold panel to co ordintae with the gold acents on my topper. a flash of lovely bright blue ribbon, and a lovely sentiment I thought fittede perfectly! I printed the sentiment with my graphic programme and simply changed the colour of each word to match the colours in my card! easy and very effective I think!

Just Inklined Rose

Good morning all! well as much as i LOVE bank holidays and having that extra day off work to craft... it really throws me out of sink! Wednesday already lol?! which can only mean DT card for JUST INKLINED

This week i have used the beautiful Rose digi that you can pick up just HERE!

I decided to use some lovely soft colours this time, and using my Spectrum Noir Pens and Pencils, here are the colours i used:

Pens-

DG3, DG4, CG4, GB10, CR1, CR2, CR3, CR4, CR6

Pencils-

035, 031, 045, 048

and then my blending fluid ,

a simple bit of mat and layering........a sprinkling of tiny diamantes ....and a beautiful sentiment and my CAS style rose card is complete.

Just Inklined- Peony

Good morning all!! That time has come around again for me to share my weekly DT card for

JUST INKLINED

A beautiful dig stamp I'm sure you will all agree! and was a pleasure to colour in!

For my card I have enlarged the image to fit a 7x7 inch card blank, I chose a lovely sentiment and used my graphic programme to simply type each word in a different font...just because lol then I coloured in my image using my Spectrum Noir pens and pencils! here are the colours I used:

Exciting Sneeky Peek to Share!!

Good afternoon all! Well what a fabulous weekend! I would LOVE to say I have spent it soaking up the sun in my Garden lol, well maybe a little,... most of the time I was in my craft room, but luckily it opens up onto the garden! so still able to enjoy this lovely weather!! well today I am sharing an exciting sneaky peek with you all. Crafters Companion have a wonderful BRAND NEW launch for you all next week!! Check out Create and Craft next Saturday and Sunday 24th & 25th for an exciting "Weekender" offer, Called Halcyon Days, it is exquisite! there will be a CD, ROM, paper crafting kit, and a card kit that is so very LUSH! this first DT card I am sharing was made using the CD ROM...

very very pretty images in a range of beautiful colours!

And here is what I used to create my card...

Collall all purpose and 3D glue Gel

To create the opening doors effect i simply popped the image into my graphic programme, printed it off as normal, then for the underneath image, i used a transparency tool to pale down the image and then on each beach hut I typed a word, obviously this could be any message or name, then printed that too!. On the top image i cut around 3 sides of each beach hut to create the opening door, then i glued them both together! easy peasy and looks FAB!

i will be sharing LOTS of sneaky peeks this week, some from the CD ROM and some from the card kit, so hope you will drop by again tomorrow! you are going to love these designs! perfect for summer!

Pucker Up! Mwah! First image coloured with Spectrum Noir Pens & Pencils

Good morning crafters!! Today I am very excited to share this card with you!! It is my FIRST one coloured in using Spectrum Noir Pens and Pencils from Crafters Companion and I absolutely LOVE the effect I have had from them!!

I chose a fabulous image from Mo's Digital Pencil called "Duck Face!" that you can pick up just Here!

Isn't she just FABULOUS! I can see me colouring this one over and over!

I am so chuffed to bits for my first attempt using the two mediums together! I have so much to do today and now all I want to do it sit and play!! ooops!

New Release at Scrappers Delights -

Hey crafters.....it's that time again!!! BRAND NEW releases are now in store over at Scrappers Delights!

This time I have had the absolute pleasure of working with the cutest little digi, that is a new member of the "Fruity Babies" called

 Apple Jack!

I decided on red apples.....as they are my favourite!! and decided to use some BRIGHT punchy colours for this one!! Coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens, some Core'dinations card stock, a lovely little sentiment ...quick ...simple but FAB!

I will be entering my card into some challenges this month, so I'm just off now...to do just that!

Just Inklined - Post Office

Happy Wednesday crafters!!

Today see's my weekly DT card for Just Inklined. This week I have chose a fabulously drawn digi stamp called "Post Office" that you can pick up in store just HERE! Now after I coloured it in ...which I LOVED doing....I couldn't decide how to mount it onto a card? then from now where it shouted .....DISTRESS ME!!!! I have no idea where this little voice cam from because I have to admit distressing cards is NOT my strong point....in fact it even scares me a little! and is not something I would normally CHOOSE to do? but ....it just seems right for this image, I was picturing in my head an image of "The Good Old Days" where we used to go to the post office weekly and was thinking of this quaint little post office back in the day in some lovely little village!, SO! I distressed the edges of my image, used a tiny bit of Tim Holtz walnut stain on the edges ( not too much mind this stuff can be lethal if you overload ya sponge!! ...speaking from experience!) then matted on to a piece of distressed Kraft card from Crafters companion that is a totally amazing card stock! look at how clear and crisp my sentiment has printed on to it? flipping brilliant stuff, if you want to try it check it out on the web site just HERE!

Then using Antique Keys Embossing folder again from Crafers Companion I created a background that I simply distressed and matted onto a dark brown card then popped onto a card base made with the same Kraft card. 

my image I coloured in with my Spectrum Noir Pens ...I used 38 colours, probably didn't need to lol but i could ...so i did, i wont list them but if you want them just ask!

I then printed a fitting sentiment for mt "Old" card distressed the edges popped into place and finally wrapped some string around, I started out thinking....what have I done...Nicole...do you know what you are doing??? But I like it now its finished! 

which is kinda a good job really !

Scruffy Littla Cat= From Crafters Companion

Hey everyone...well??? did you catch the fabulous shows on Create and Craft?? When the super lovely Leann brought you the AMAZING Scruffy Little Cat Pick of The week???? and as we all suspected the SLC products are flying literally out the door! you are all loving them! which we love! Another DT card from me to Share with you, but this time I have used the Die cut pre printed sheet and the Darks Paper Pad,

The papers in this pad are all gorgeous! I didn't know which one to use....so I used 3!! I took a 7x7 card blank cut some different sized squares of the patterned papers - matted onto Crafters Companion black card ( which is also fab!) then simply built up my mats by twisting at different angles, just for something different! I used CC Collall all purpose glue as it is..well....FANTASTIC! , then a few dark blue mini pearls from my Anitas colour wheel of pearls which I LOVE! and a black satin bow!, there are still more shows to come this week, but stocks are low so don't leave it too long crafters!

Saturated Canary- Fly Girl

Good afternoon crafters.

Today I am FINALLY sharing a card I made and coloured a couple of weeks ago...it was the first image I coloured in when I brought my fabulous new Spectrum Noir pens, that I have to say are now my FAVOURITE pen to colour with. This is a little digi stamp from the extremely talented Saturated Canary and you can pick it up right over HERE! and she is called "Fly Girl"

How fabulous is she??!!

I had the most fun trying out my luscious new pen set!.....I could sit and colour for HOURS! , and now.... because its only right!...I have just brought the Spectrum Noir Blendable pencils too! I've only had a quick play so far and WOW... that is all I am saying. For many many years my most favourite arty possession has always been my set of Derwent Artist pencils, but the quality of these new Spectrum pencils I must admit has shocked me, and any one who knows their stuff, when they try these will TOTALLY get what I mean. So... I'm off to have a dabble with them right now!

Scruffy Little Cat- ANOTHER Sneeky Peek!!!

Good evening crafters,.... well we are now on countdown !!! 3 more days until the launch of the FABULOUS new range from Crafters Companion ....Sruffly Little Cat!! Friday will see the very uber talented Leann bring you the amazingly gorgeous new pick of the week on Create and Craft at 12 midday.

and now...another little sneaky peek from me...this time using the Die Cut Decoupage sheet.

 I have used the beautiful Enchanted Create a Card die, to make an Easel card, by simply cutting it out twice, Ive used the papers from the darks paper pad to pop behind the die, then used the die cut topped to pop behind the centre. A few paper flowers using the lace, blissful and small sunflower quilling dies ( I am very new to making flowers and will be the first to admit I need practise! but they are so very easy to make!) then I popped a sentiment that comes with one of the stamp sets!. I hope you like my little card! I LOVE this range! the stamps are just so FAB to colour!! I will be sharing another stamped image tomorrow!!

Just Inklined Blog Hop For May- Theme Animals

Gooooooood morning crafters!!

It's time to ....HOP!.....

Today see's the start to May's Blog Hop for Just Inklined ( my second one as DT member!! YAY!!!)

This months host is the lovely Gaynor who has chosen the theme of "Animals" 

mmmm so I got to thinking??...with so many fabulous Animal digi stamps available...which one to choose! I had a lovely time flicking through the wonderful choices over at the Just Inklined shop ( I have seen sooooo many now I want to colour!) but I settled for a very handsome little fellow called "Prince of Frogs" and you can pick him up just ....HERE!

very appropriate I think for a blog..HOP! and I chose a sentiment that matched him PERFECTLY!

I enlarged my image to fit an 8 x 8 card and coloured him in using my Spectrum Noir pens, here are the colours I used...

DG1, DG2, DG3, DG4, CG2, CG4
BLACK, EB1, EB2, GB10 and the Blender pen.

then some simple mat and layering with green and brown card stock and some gorgeous Olive satin ribbon... this is my FAVOURITE colour!!

Crafters Companion Sneeky Peek!!....#2 Scruffly Little Cat

Good Morning All!!!!

Well....it's bank holiday weekend and the sun is ...er...dare I say it shining!?!? so I hope you are all enjoying a fabulous BH!! Today I am mosty crafting, so I thought before I get started I would share another of the lovely "Scruffly Little Cat" DT samples made ready for the exciting launch THIS FRIDAY 9th of May on Create and Craft! Crafters Companion really have pulled out all the stops to bring you something amazing crafters! 

meet.... "Chanel"

how very lush is she!! Chanel is another of the fabulous stamps that will be winging its way to you on friday!! 

I have used my Spectrum Noir Pens to colour her in and I have used the following colours...

BG7, BG6, BG5, BG4, BG2, BG1
BT1, BT2, BT4
TN6, TN3, TN2
CR1, CR2, CR3
FS3, FS4, FS2,
GB8, GB7, GB5, GB4, GB3, GB1

Plus papers from the Darks SLC paper pad. some Core'dinations card stock, black ribbon and a diamante ribbon slider from my stash...ooooh and not forgetting some pretty little pearls and lots of lovely collal all purpose glue...that I now couldnt craft without and use on EVERYTHING!! So....what do you think! The girls on the Design Team I must say have done Crafters Companion. proud with all their samples and colourings!! Just you wait and see all the variations of just this stamp alone and how different she looks made up in different colour combinations!

Challenge #13 over at The Crafting Musketeers!

Hey Crafters!! Its that time of the month again!! hasnt it rolled round quick!! We see a brand new challenge start over at Crafting Musketeers

and its our 1st birthday too!! This months theme to follow is..."Anything but square"! and we have a fabulous sponsor this month.....drum roll please...the one and only....Katy Sue Designs!! and look at this for a corker of a prize

A CD ROM that is JAM PACKED FULL of totally gorgeous and original art work!!

so....this month I chose to make a round card...well... anything but square right!!

A very quick and simple card, image printed from the Katy Sue Designs CD ROM Fabulous Shoes that you can pick up ....HERE!!

I used a circle die to cut my image out from Nellies Muli Frames, and then using the Crafters Companion Die'sire Die Waltz Frame, I cut two of the fancy circles in some very lush red card, used collall quick dry tacky glue and attached the two together on one side to make a lovely fancy circle die! popped on mu image, a flash of luscious red organza ribbon and done!
