Crafting Musketeers Challenge # 18- Autumn Colours

Hi crafters!! We have a BRAND NEW challenge out now over at the Crafting Musketeers!!

This months challenge is number 18 and we have the theme of " Autumn Colours" which is just perfect for this time of year dont you think?

Autumn is my favourite season! I just love watching the autumn leaves start to change colour, the wind gets that bit more blustery and the nights slowly start to draw in, I think its a beautiful season!

I have chosen to use the most lovely Autumn image from one of the Crafters Companion CD Roms, Brambly Hedge Winter. I LOVE It!, quite simple, with one of the coordinatiung background papers in such lovely oranges, browns and yellow tomes. I popped on to google and searched for an Autumn poem, to use too, then mat and layered onto some lovely burnt oange card, some ribbon, and to finish off I punched some maple leaves using a Woodware punch.

A Few more DT cards for Brambly Hedge!

Well its been a fabulous week! Crafters Companion have had extremely busy shows with the wonderful Pick of the week on Create and Craft launching the BRAND new Cd's and papercrafting kit from Brambly Hedge! Here are a few more of my Design Team cards I made for the launch using the CD rom, "Poppies Babies and Secret Stair Case" and exclusive limited edition papercraft kit!

Brambly Hedge by Crafters Companion

Hello crafters!

I hope you are all enjoying the shows this week on Create and Craft for the fabulous launch of the beautiful Brambly Hedge from
Crafters Companion

Here are a couple more of my design team cards, both made up using the CD rom "Poppies babies & secret Staircase"

 

This first one is taken from the Spring card section of the CD rom, isn't is soooooooo adorable!! I am so in love with this art work, and once again the colours are simply beautiful! I've taken some papers again from the coordinating background section ( so many to choose from there!) and the flowers printed from the embellishment section, 

and here we have a card made from the Card companions section of the cd rom, this section is just amazing!! everything you need prints out all in one! Topper, papers, sentiment and embellishments! you don't have to think about what goes with what, will this paper match...what embellishments should I choose? nope nope! all thought out for you, so perfect for beginners, if you need a quick card, and ..well.... just about everybody lol
I have had so much fun making my DT cards for this launch, its simply just gorgeous!!

Crafters Companion Brambly Hedge

Get ready guys!!! I'm so very excited!! Tomorrow the 5th of September see's another BRAND NEW launch from CRAFTERS COMPANION

This time they are bringing us the outstandingly beautiful Brambly Hedge double CD rom and paper crafting kit. Now i am already a huge fan of this art work, like many out there i grew up reading these books and then buying them for my children. The illustrations and breathtakingly brilliant! so very detailed! I remember I used to try and copy them hen i was young and draw little mice houses too! I already have the first triple cd rom that launched a while back now, so i was very excited to hear a new one was on the way and it hasn't disappointed! but then, what would you expect from Crafters Companion! they strive to bring us the best....and that's exactly what they do!

Sara will be launching the new range tomorrow on Create and Craft at 12.00 noon, along with our fabulous NEW CC family member Fiona Clayton who has just joined the team! You will be seeing Fiona regularly on your TV screens so I hope you can tune in on her debut appearance !! right I've waffled enough....would you like to see some of my DT cards..here you go..

 This first one is printed from the Easel Box cards section on the CD rom "Poppies Babies and Secret Staircase" isn't it cute!! it's all thought out for you all you have to do is hit that print button! All measured correctly, and guides for scoring etc, so very easy to make up but looks amazing!! The paper roses are on the cd too in the embellishment section, I've never made them before but again you simply cut out twist up and glue into place!

and this one, has an image taken from the same CD rom but this time an image found on the toppers section, again the paper flowers are all on the cd for you, and the papers I've taken from the coordinating backgrounds section. There are some truly beautiful papers, and the whole cd has the most beautiful array of subtle colour palette just exquisite!

I have more lovliness to share with you through out the day tomorrow, i'm off to schedule my posts now! as I have alot to share!!
