All my Christmas Sheena Makes!!

well the weather is just awful looking out my craft room window...but then it is only January 3rd and we are in the winter months! so i suppose its to be expected, Autumn and winter are my favourite months i must admit, i love the colours of Autumn when the leaves start to change i love the winter months and listening to the rain against the windows and SNOW i LOVE Snow!...not too much of course, but its so crisp and clean..probably the only time my back garden looks beautiful and neat :) covered in a beautiful blanket of snow! ha ha I'm no gardener, no time ... craft is my obsession so last year we set to covering half the garden in decking which is very almost done! i want something nice to look onto out my Craft room window so I'm hoping I'll be good at Pots!! so back to blogging new year new crafty start and all that.... i have so much I've done the past few months but not had chance to blog so today i want to share some Sheena makes with you, now these are the Christmas Launch i worked on new perfect partners they were so gorgeous to work with and you may have seen a few on my face book! we had 3 Christmas launches on the Sheena team, dies and stamps,  stamps and the embossing folders!! so this is going to be a BIG post as I'll get all my photos uploaded in one go
first off the perfect partners stamps and matching dies! adore these sets!!
this one ive used the pine Christmas foliage die set, there is cordinating stamps but i didnt use them on this one, ive added Americana triple thick glaze to the pine cones too they look so lovely!
this one is one of my favourites! again only the dies here i've used cut simply in white and then in colour on top, i've used the christmas foliage set and also the holly and ivy die, coloured up with my luminarte silk paints and a touch of gold gilding wax
white on white! love it, so clean and elegant looking, using Sheenas poinsettia die set
another favouirte! here i've used one of Sheenas embossing folders, this one is called "Stars over the city" i,ve painted the embossed detail with luminarte silk paints used distress inks for the sky and centre star, then rubbed over the embossed detail with gold gilding wax, then used Sheenas poinsettia die that i've inked up with the same inks and rubbed gilding wax over too, i really loved this card and made 5 more for a riend that were sent over to Aiustralia and America!
this one i've used one of my favouite christmas embossing folders by Sheena that also launched this year, a really lovely font on this one, then using the poinsettia die i've cut and embossed  red card stock then sprayed with spray and sparkle
same folder again, simple red card embossed then gold gilding wax, then created a poinsettia same as the above card, looks beautiful against the white don't you think ?
oooooh another favouite here!! i adored this card, so simple to make, background is simply distress inks blended in, a couple of hills made using a torn piece of card, then the christmas foliage die set cut in white and black layered up with a tiny bit of silver gilding wax, i also sprayed the background with pearl diamond spray and sparkle before popping my die cuts into place to make my snow glisten!
another card using the christmas foliage die set this time to decorate one of the new Sheena christmas embossing folders
holy die set here, stamped in white for the back ground , painted with luminarte silk paints
this one i just chopped up the holly die cut and created a holly decorated bauble!...something a little different
simple striking red black and gold here, poinsettia and holly die sets
then how about using the holly leaves to create a christmas tree?!
another favourite i wanted to remake but never found the time! a little mdf hanging plaque with more muted pastel tones
strange idea i had here but tried to go with it!, stamped the background and coloured then die cut the top piece inked and layed over the top with 3D glue gel, wasnt convinced i liked it at first...but i liked the idea of it!!!
ivy set up next quite grungy this one!
NOW....the new stamps that were launched, first up the NOEL set, i went a bit wacky colour with these but i loved them! totally none traditional colours

Then the PEACE stamp set

are you still with me.....or is my post so long i've lost you lol
here we have the BELLS stamp set...
MERRY CHRISTMAS stamp set next up loved these!!

CHRISTMAS CANDLES... i'm almost done promise!
these next two are very simple using the largest font stamp, lovely sentiment here

phew we've nearly made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! theses last few pics are made using the new christmas embossing folders that launched, you will notice i used them in quite alot of my samples above too!! i mainly hand painted the embossed areas on these ones

and we made it woooooo! i hope you stayed for the marathon of my post!!! and i really hope you liked all of my Christmas Sheena makes!!
i'm off now to cause chaos in my craft room with Aquatints!! but i will be back again very soon!!
hugs

New Challenge over at The Crafting Musketeers!!

Hey there crafters!!
Apologies as I am a little late with my post!!  I have not been well...but I am now on the mend so catching up with crafting duties :)
Exciting news!! A brand new challenge has started over at The Crafting Musketeers
Decemebr challenge number 8 has the theme of " Layer it up" with a fabulous sponsor this month....HunkoryDory!! just look at these goodies!!

Here's a little bit about our sponsor this month!
The story began back in 1990 at a humble little wool and needlecraft shop in Preston, Lancashire. One day, the owners of the shop, Ann and David Newhouse bought some peel-off stickers to add greetings to handmade cards. Ann and David were quickly hooked on this new idea, and decided to extend the offerings of their wool and needlecraft shop into something far bigger.
In 2002, Ann and David introduced Cardcraft Plus as a mail order company which allowed customers to order products direct to their door. However, they soon began to find it difficult to source enough quality products to fill their regular catalogues.
The in-house catalogue designers were also crafters, and had shown a real interest in designing their own papercraft products which quickly became best-selling items for Cardcraft Plus.
The passion for crafting ran in the family, and soon enough, sons Adam and Daniel jumped on board to help the family business flourish. Before long, fellow retailers had begun to enquire about stocking these innovative new products and so, in 2007, Hunkydory Crafts was born as a card making supplies and materials wholesaler.
Over recent years, Hunkydory Crafts has grown to become the UK's premier papercraft manufacturer, supplying retailers across the globe with the latest trends in craft. New collections are regularly showcased on Create & Craft and Ideal Shopping television in the UK, where Anne-Marie Catterall and her talented team can be found demonstrating all that Hunkydory Crafts has to offer.
Cardcraft Plus is still established as a mail order company today, and proudly stocks all the latest Hunkydory products amongst the best in craft supplies from around the world. The humble little wool and needlecraft shop in Preston is now known as Inspirations, an award-winning 10,000 square ft craft superstore.
So....theres the story about HunkyDory!
Come on then crafters ! join us in our last challenge of 2013!! can you believe it! where has this year gone!
For my DT card this month I chose to do a decoupaged card for my "Layer It Up" theme, printed from the Me to You CD rom, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cd, this cute little bear is just sooooo gorgeous!!
