New Challenge over at The Crafting Musketeers!!

Hey there crafters!!
Apologies as I am a little late with my post!!  I have not been well...but I am now on the mend so catching up with crafting duties :)
Exciting news!! A brand new challenge has started over at The Crafting Musketeers
Decemebr challenge number 8 has the theme of " Layer it up" with a fabulous sponsor this month....HunkoryDory!! just look at these goodies!!

Here's a little bit about our sponsor this month!
The story began back in 1990 at a humble little wool and needlecraft shop in Preston, Lancashire. One day, the owners of the shop, Ann and David Newhouse bought some peel-off stickers to add greetings to handmade cards. Ann and David were quickly hooked on this new idea, and decided to extend the offerings of their wool and needlecraft shop into something far bigger.
In 2002, Ann and David introduced Cardcraft Plus as a mail order company which allowed customers to order products direct to their door. However, they soon began to find it difficult to source enough quality products to fill their regular catalogues.
The in-house catalogue designers were also crafters, and had shown a real interest in designing their own papercraft products which quickly became best-selling items for Cardcraft Plus.
The passion for crafting ran in the family, and soon enough, sons Adam and Daniel jumped on board to help the family business flourish. Before long, fellow retailers had begun to enquire about stocking these innovative new products and so, in 2007, Hunkydory Crafts was born as a card making supplies and materials wholesaler.
Over recent years, Hunkydory Crafts has grown to become the UK's premier papercraft manufacturer, supplying retailers across the globe with the latest trends in craft. New collections are regularly showcased on Create & Craft and Ideal Shopping television in the UK, where Anne-Marie Catterall and her talented team can be found demonstrating all that Hunkydory Crafts has to offer.
Cardcraft Plus is still established as a mail order company today, and proudly stocks all the latest Hunkydory products amongst the best in craft supplies from around the world. The humble little wool and needlecraft shop in Preston is now known as Inspirations, an award-winning 10,000 square ft craft superstore.
So....theres the story about HunkyDory!
Come on then crafters ! join us in our last challenge of 2013!! can you believe it! where has this year gone!
For my DT card this month I chose to do a decoupaged card for my "Layer It Up" theme, printed from the Me to You CD rom, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cd, this cute little bear is just sooooo gorgeous!!
so dont delay crafters get your entries in, you can check out the rest of the design Teams inspiration and enter just  HERE!!

One for the boys and one for the girls

Well doesnt time fly? where did that weekend go... monday evening already lol well, i'm just popping on to post a couple of quick makes i made the weekend

First one is from La Pashe printed from "The Big One " cd you can find the details of the cd rom right about.... Here! but if you prefer paper crafting you'd better check out these gorgeous papers Over here! and check out the fabulous sale prices STILL available!..absolutely love these images!!. This one i had a little play with, i needed my background a little larger for the card i was doing so for the background i copied and flipped the background and joined together to make the garden look bigger ;) then just chose the front part of the gardener to decoupage!  and ...voila! one funky gardener card
I then added some glossy accents to the top o the pint! to finish off
Then... I fancied doing something abit girlie, for a friend who asked me to make something pretty for a close friends 40th birthday. so i had a flick through my many cds (only 200 plus..ish..ssshhhh dont tell the hubby!...its not my fault!! they are very addictive) and found the perfect image.
this is called the "Morning Glory Fairy" It is an image painted By Linda Ravenscroft, i printed the image and all the little extras from the "A Touch Of Magic" Cd Rom
I chose to make a Pyramage card, used a faded background of the same image, Popped the sentiment onto some matching paper and to finish off some pearl pins pink ribbon, mini pearls and added some beautiful glitter to her wings
I would love to know if you like my little makes, so please stop and drop me a message, well i'm off to craft some more so untill i post again... i bid you farewell! happy crafting :) xxx
